A Hare and a Tortoise



Once upon a time there were a hare and a tortoise in a forest.The hare always boasted that he can run fast. Once he teased the tortoise for his slow speed. The tortoise became angry. He said," Let's run a race." So, one morning they started running a race.During the race the hare saw the tortoise far behind. So, he took a rest for a while and fell asleep. But the tortoise continued the race. When the hare woke up, he saw the tortoise much ahead of him. The hare's last leap was too late. The tortoise beat him finally.
